Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Monarck collects when you enquire with us, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the control you have over it.
Effective 1 July 2026 · Last updated 25 July 2026
01. Who we are
Monarck is an interior design studio based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We design and deliver modular interiors for homes, offices and commercial spaces.
For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Monarck is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Our registered address is Outpost 1, Begur, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Monarck. “You” means any person who submits an enquiry to us or otherwise shares personal data with us.
02. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to your enquiry and design your space. When you submit an enquiry form — on our website, or through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram — we collect:
| What we collect | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name | To address you correctly when our designer calls |
| Mobile number | To call or message you to confirm your consultation or site visit |
| Email address (if given) | To send your design concept, estimate and project documents |
| Property area or address | To plan and travel to your site visit |
| Home size and scope of work | To understand your requirement before we visit |
| Project stage and timeline | To schedule your project realistically |
| Budget range | To prepare an estimate suited to you |
| Preferred visit date and time | To book your appointment |
| Floor plans or reference images (if uploaded) | To design accurately to your dimensions and taste |
| GSTIN (commercial clients only) | To raise a valid tax invoice |
| Referral source | To understand which of our campaigns are working |
What we never collect
- We do not ask for or store payment card numbers, bank account details, UPI credentials or passwords.
- We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN or any government identity number through our enquiry forms.
- We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
03. How we use your information
Your data is used only for the purposes you gave it to us for:
- To contact you about the enquiry you submitted
- To schedule and carry out your free consultation and site visit
- To prepare your design concept, estimate and project documents
- To coordinate execution with our manufacturing and installation partners
- To raise invoices and maintain records required under Indian tax law
- To send you project updates while your project is in progress
- To measure how well our advertising is working, in aggregate
We do not sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to lead aggregators, not to any other interior company. We never have and we will not.
04. Consent and your choice
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit an enquiry form. Submitting a form means you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us at the address in section 10. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Once you withdraw, we will stop contacting you and delete your data, unless we are legally required to retain part of it — for example, invoices under tax law.
05. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with a small number of parties, and only so we can deliver your project:
- Our manufacturing and installation partners — who receive your name, site address, contact number and design specifications so they can manufacture and install. They are contractually bound to use it for your project alone.
- Google Workspace — enquiry records and uploaded files are stored in Google Sheets and Google Drive under our business account.
- Meta Platforms — if you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta processes that submission before passing it to us. Meta’s own handling of your data is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Our accountant and tax authorities — invoice and GST records, as required by Indian law.
We may also disclose data where we are legally compelled to, such as under a valid court order or a lawful request from a government authority.
06. How long we keep it
| Record type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that did not convert | 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted |
| Active and completed projects | For the duration of the project and the full warranty period |
| Invoices and tax records | 8 years, as required under Indian tax law |
| Floor plans and design files | Deleted on request, or 24 months after project handover |
07. How we protect it
- Enquiry data is stored in access-controlled Google Workspace accounts protected by two-factor authentication.
- Access is limited to the Monarck team members who need it to do their work.
- Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Partner vendors receive only the specific details required to complete your project.
No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.
08. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access — ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we are using it
- Correct — ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything missing
- Erase — ask us to delete your data where we no longer need it for a lawful purpose
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for any future processing
- Nominate — appoint another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within 30 days.
09. Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses only what is necessary to make the site function and to understand which advertisements bring visitors to us. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individuals.
If you arrive from one of our advertisements, we record the campaign source — for example, Instagram or Facebook — so we know which campaigns work. This is not linked to your identity unless you choose to submit an enquiry.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will continue to work.
